Bioresources and Biosafety Facility

The Bioresources and Biosafety (B&B) Core Service coordinated access to RMIT's regulated biological facilities, specialist equipment, and biosafety capabilities that support research, teaching, and industry engagement.

Core capabilities inculde PC1/PC2 facilities, imaging platforms, plant and environmental systems, aquatic and animal facilities, and pre-clinical research infrasturcture. Services cover equipment and facility booking, technical and operator support, biosafety, and regulatory advice, and user training.

Through structured access and traceable equipment use, the core enables safe, compliant, and high-quality biological research from early-stage studies through to applied outcomes.
